“VVI; AAI; VOO; DDDR; DDDRD” What do those letters mean?? This class will discuss pacemaker terminology along with interpreting single and dual chambered pacing strips.
Please bring a caliper

Course Objectives:

• Identify the components of the pacing systems & there respective functions
• Utilize the NBG code to identify various pacing modes
• Differentiate the four states of dual chambered pacing
• Interpret single and dual chambered pacing strips
• Distinguish pacing and sensing abnormalities on rhythm strips.

Prerequisite:  Level I Dysrhythmia or Tele Tech class
