Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes

The Grotenhuis Pediatric Multispecialty Clinic at Cottage Children’s Hospital has opened a new Pediatric Endocrine and Diabetes Clinic, led by Dr. Cristina Candido-Vitto.

The arrival of Dr. Candido-Vitto marks the debut of a hospital-based pediatric endocrinology program at CCH.  Dr. Candido-Vitto is a Board-certified pediatric endocrinologist and diabetologist who trained at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Her areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of many endocrinopathies such as diabetes mellitus, growth disorders, early pubertal development, thyroid dysfunction, hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal disorders, obesity, insulin resistance, polycystic ovary syndrome, and calcium disorders.

The Pediatric Endocrine and Diabetes Clinic is open from 8:00 a.m. to  5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is located next to the Pueblo parking garage:
