Cystic Fibrosis and Bronchiectasis Clinic

The Cottage Cystic Fibrosis and Bronchiectasis Clinic Team takes a multidisciplinary approach to caring for patients and families with both Cystic Fibrosis and non-CF bronchiectasis.  Our highly experienced care providers include physicians, respiratory and physical therapists, a dietitian, and other professionals dedicated to managing cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis.

In addition we have a 24-hour emergency room, gastroenterologists, otorhinolaryngologists, endocrinologists, gynecologists and interventional radiologists affiliated with Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with expertise in caring for cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis patients. We also have a microbiology lab that performs sputum cultures, and we perform daily sweat chloride testing in accordance with CF Foundation guidelines.

Because we are smaller program we have the ability to provide more personalized care to our patients.  We are in the process of becoming a CF Foundation accredited affiliate center of Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and USC Medical Center.

All of the Center’s clinicians use Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital’s electronic medical record for documentation.  This increases the continuity of care for our patients as the record is accessible to all appropriate care providers both in the clinic and in the hospital.
